Two of Furi's most versatile knives, The Furi Pro Value Starter Set 2 Piece pairs the East/West™ Santoku with the Asian Utility knife, so chopping, slicing and finer preparation are covered.

The East/West™ Santoku 17cm/7" sits between a Western cook’s knife and an Eastern vegetable chopper, handling everything from fine chopping to dicing and paper-thin slicing. The Asian Utility 12cm/4.5" has a wider blade for larger chopping tasks while staying as nimble as a paring knife, and the scallops along the blade reduce friction so cutting stays fast and clean.

Both blades are precision-crafted from X50CrMoV15 Japanese stainless steel, hardened and tempered over 14 steps to 55-57 Rockwell, then hand-sharpened to a 26° cutting angle. Seamless construction leaves no food traps, so the knives stay easy to clean.

The reverse-wedge, anti-fatigue handle locks into the hand and reduces slip towards the blade, while the optimised bolster protects fingers and lets the full cutting edge be used and sharpened right to the heel. Rigid blade guards are included, covering the full blade to prevent accidental cuts and to protect the edge when the knives are stored loose in a drawer.
